As you know i have just bought a 325i Cab, '89 on a G.
The right hand strut that operates the locking mechanism on the boot is broken and is at most Ԛ£37 from the stealer. My problem is that on the dash on the far left hand side, the light for the hood is constantly flashing. And even though i have reset the servicing lights its still flashing when the engine is running.
This is annoying to say the least and for the time being i have put some gaffa tape over it to block it out from view.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the cause of this is??
Muchos Grazi-ass.

Yes mate where the roof meets the top of the windscreen the roof latch goes down a small whole (drivers side). If u look down the whole the is a micro switch this tells the car that the roof is up and turns off the warning light it may need adjusting so it switches.
