Okay so last year just before the car went into storage an issue arose with the screen wash. When I pressed the stalk the screen wash would come on and not stop spraying from the nozzles. The only way to stop it was to take the key out and leave it for a minute or so. I’ve tried two good used wiper stalk switches, and a new relay/control unit that sits on the reservoir (car has intensive).. but still no luck.

Any ideas?

Check in the fuse box.

Probably some thing stuck under the relay shorting it out.

Exactly this, usually a fuse falls out and gets under the wash wipe relay.

If everything else is OK it might be worth checking behind the stereo especially if it has been out recently, the loom runs behind it and can short out on the radio casing, usually the wash wipe can suddenly come on driving over bumps when that happens.
