M TECHNIC 1 front and rear valance retrofit question

Hi,
It's likely that'll pick up front and rear valences of a M Tech 1 (subject to condition etc.) and I noted that BMW lists different part numbers for the bumper rubber strip and the two end pieces for both front and rear valances.
I can see by looking at the EBA that at least the front end pieces on M Technic variants don't have a little bit at the bottom which the EBA recommends cutting off, but I'm not sure about the bumper strip differences. Of course everything related to M Technic is NLA, just to make things fun.

Has anyone done the retrofit with existing bits and found it works?

yes iv got m tec bits lying around
and know that rear end bumper caps come in three different types !
2 dr & 4 door saloon / convertible / mtec 1
