Drivers Side Door Lock

So my drivers side door unlocks ok and triggers the central locking.

But it won't lock and I have to use the passengers side.

Is it a lock or relay issue ?

I think it is the lock barrel needs replacing

This happened to my new so I bought a cheap central locked kit off ebay and changed the drivers side lock then wired it in to the cars loom and I now have fully working locks
