I took my sunroof apart today as it was only tilting up and not opening up. As I was prying out the front the headliner ripped so i need to replace that. Is the headliner easy to take out as I have not figured that yet.?
Also I noticed the guide on the left is broke, the horizontal guide that is attached to the runners. Is this easy to replace ?
Last thing is that the motor works without the sunroof panel on and the guide runs along the runners to the back now and occasionally sounds stuck and then doesn’t move after opening back and forth .
Then after running it forward again it works again.
Anything I need to look at while I am replacing parts.

Wind sunroof back a few cm then you can pull front edge of liner dowm with your hands to release the 5 spring-clips that hold it in place.
Doing this bends/distorts the metal frame that the liner-material is glued to but it's easy to manipulate it back to the right shape when you finally put the liner back in place.
Then put the roof in tilt position and push the liner backwards and it will disengage from its two locating pegs at the back of the roof-panel and bish-bosh the liner is free of the roof.
Maybe the sunroof cables need lubing with oil if the motor is struggling.
