I am looking to swap my wonderful Pierburg carburetor with a weber of some kind, No fuel is getting to cylinder 3 and the idle is really bad at this point. I want to retain the stock air cleaner and have an electric choke so I don't have to deal with that for if my family take the car for a cruise. Are there any options that have an electric choke instead of the manual cable? If there aren't, what option is the best and where can I run the cable so it is as unobtrusive as possible?

Have you had a look through the Wiki here?

Also try doing a search back through the forum someone might give you some ideas on the choke :thumb:

I dont know of any electric chokes but the manual one is quite fine.
I put mine where the useless headlight leveling system control went.

My buddy is insisting I get an electric choke or water choke 32/36, The bolt pattern on the intake manifold is a bit of a mystery to me right now but my friend has a m10 320 intake manifold he's willing to give/sell me. Is this something I'll be good to plug and play with?

Sorry but I have no idea as mine came with the weber so I didn`t go into it at all.

I am assuming when you say 32/36 you mean Weber 32/36 DGV or DGAV. If you do then in your earlier post you want to retain the original air filter assembly then you won’t be able as 32/36 top is quite different to the Weber that is designed to fit in place of Pierberg. I am not even sure if the bolt fixing on the M10 carb manifold is the same as to fit 32/36!

Why would no fuel be getting to cylinder #3 if it's reaching the others OK? :? Perhaps you may have a blockage in the inlet manifold, and it's worth doing a compression check to see if all cylinders have similar compression readings; you may for instance, have a stuck/damaged valve on cylinder #3...

Better to check for these before going to all the bother of a carb swap.

I've already done a compression test and got 130 psi on all 4 cylinders, I'll do another one just to be sure though in case I messed that up
