Hi,
Is anyone aware of any methods to repair/refurbish the interior light door switches?
Mine are very temperamental and would rather not be forking out for new ones at £77 + VAT.
Cheers,
Dave

The switch in the door aperture? Usually just need a clean on the contacts, ive just done exactly this to get an E21 switch working with the help of a stanley blade

That’s the one Dan.
The wire contact and earth to the car seem fine, acts more like when you open the door the tab is too stiff and doesn’t move enough to complete the circuit. Looks clean and I’ve lubricated them but no improvement.
