E30 fuel level sender removal

Hi. Does anybody know how to remove this fuel level sender? I'd rather not break it doing it the wrong way.

If I remember correctly it's a bayonet type fitting. Get a couple of flat screwdrivers on the edges and rotate it anti-clockwise.
