Hey-i'll try and help you mate.
Increased fuel consumption can be caused by several things, I see you have changed all the basic service items (rotorcap, sparks etc). On the m20, poor fuel consumption can also be caused by the engine running cold.
does your temperature gauge sit at the 1/2 way point once the car has been run for about 10 mins? If not, then your thermostat is probably stuck open, making the engine cooler and the ECU think the car needs more fuel.
Does the car feel"lumpy" when started from cold? If so, It could be the blue temp sender behind the thermostat that is giving incorrect readings (causing more fuel that is needed to be added).
hope that helps?
