Hey guys,
I have just had my car (318i touring) fail its mot on the tyre rubbing against the ARB. Tester showed me it and its not just a slight touch, but probably about 10mm worth of tyre flexing on it.
The car has had some mods:
H&R ARB
Bilstein B12 kit
E46 purple tag rack
M3 eccentric control arm bushings
The car is on the standard 15x7 Basketweave wheels
Couple of things I can think but not sure on:
Does anyone know if the H&R ARB is wider than the original?
Does the purple tag rack have more travel allowing for more steering angle?
This set up has been on the car a couple of years now and wasn't picked up at the last mot, so hopefully they just missed it last year and something hasn't deteriorated and made it come on in the last year?
