Headlight part ID

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

Hi,
I'm looking to ID a part that goes between the headlight adjusting cylinder and the headlight.
Mines is broken and I wonder if there still availible from the dealer. I've attached pics below.

That doesn't look like the original part, more of a DIY bodge.

Possibly. I know its broken and someone has screwed it to the headlamp. I'll need to remove the other side to see what's fitted to that side.

Any idea what that part should look like?

Theyre some of the parts that go round the headlamp. I think the one that connects the adjuster rod to the lamp my be different. I could be wrong. Once I'm back home I'll strip the other side for a look. Probably the easiest way

Yeah they are. The headlamp has either 2 or3 of those that hold it to the mount. I think they're on the main beam lamp. On the headlight lamp there's the plastic if added pictures of that join the hydraulic adjuster rod to the lamp

Well I stripped the other headlight off ans the part on that is different. Looks like someone has fitted a random part, which kinda does the trick. I extended the plastic using bonding and modified it slightly and I have the headlight aim almost spot on now. It'll do as a temp fix to get it through the mot until I source the correct parts
