Hi everyone

Having charging issues with my 1989 320i, only getting 10v at the battery when the car is running, I'm getting 14+ volts from the alternator (both terminals). I'm thinking possible bad wire between alternator and battery? Just wondering if there's any common culprits? Where should I start looking? TIA

Possibly wire from Alternator to battery or a bad engine earth, use a voltmeter to measure volt drop across the lines, it shouldn't be more than 0.5v drop or you have a bad connection/High resistance
