Afternoon folks,
Just wondering if anyone had any hints/tips/tricks or advice on taking the torsion bar out of the hinges in the boot of a 2 door.
I'm going to be fitting a fibreglass boot lid on a road/track e30.
When I test fitted the boot & closed it the tension in the boot hinges was causing the fibreglass boot to "bow" in the middle.
If possible I want to leave the hinges there & avoid using bonnet pins,
I'm not bothered about propping the boot open, I just don't want to damage the fibreglass boot.
So, anyone done it?
Thanks in advance.
