I'm sure someone on here must have done this, is there anything I should know/do/watch out for when doing this?

can i not interest you in that head I have with the 325 valves already cut and the ports taken out, but it needs the welding to repair the water jacket?

I don't want to have to patch up a dodgy head.

the way u might be going............go the 325i 2.7 route instead of wanky 320 head

It's gonna cost big bucks, think of all the head work to open up the inlet and exhaust ports.........that will be Ԛ£750 on it's own!

Simon i've already put the engine in the car last summer and I got fed up with the 325 engine snapping rockers. So I thought that I might aswell put the 2.7 in with the 200 head, then upgrade later.

Now is later :D

BTW the ports aren't that small on the 731 head!
