I didn't realise there was supposed to be a light in the boot until I saw it the other day! Obviously it isn't working.
I checked at the bulb holder and there is no voltage across terminals, Checked the fuse (according to Bentley it is Fuse 21).

Interesting here as last year I had a problem where my instrument cluster tried to catch fire whilst removing it (I always take the battery off now, even though I had an auto electrician check the wiring and found a short where the new immobiliser/ alarm was fitted).
I always wondered why the fuse didn't blow, now I know, some arse had put a 30 Amp in there instead of the 7.5 it should be. Now has a 10 as I couldn't find a 7.5. (There was also slight scorching on the fuse holder  )

Anyway, the fuse is alright but still no light working/no voltage.
I couldn't find the switch for the boot light, so any ideas where it is or of any common faults with these lights?

the switch should be in the boot lid its just a pin switch like in a door pillar maybe yous is missing
if you jhave no voltage at the light possibly a broken wire where the boot lid wiring follows the hinge it has to bend here as the bootlid is opened and closed and is prone to breaking
