Hi all I am doing a rear drum to brake conversion for my 320i.

I have accuired rear trailing arms with discs but am missing calipers.

Q. Are all rear calipers on the e30 the same ?
Or are the 318i and 325i etc different ?

Also I have seen pagid calipers at euros but they don't come with the brake caliper carriers which I am having trouble finding.. any idea where I cam find these otherwise
Will carriers from any e30 rear caliper fit?

Thanks in Advanced..

Cross refer the part nos. on realoem to check, for a 325 its 34211160396.

They're readily available from BMW and other dealers but the price is 100-200 quid a piece!!

Check the part numbers and buy something used from a breaker on here, they don't fail or need to be new as long as the slider pins are in good order.

All rear disc parts are the same carriers, pads, calipers etc. As you have seen you can buy new calipers for pretty reasonable money but the carriers will always be a pickle. You'd be hard pushed to find someone to sell you a set (if they had them) on their own so you may have to bite the bullet and just buy a complete set of used rear calipers and carriers.
