Just replaced all my front seals on my ‘86 325es and timing belt. I have both the crank and the camshaft aligned at TDC but what about the oil shaft? When I took off that pulley it did spin and on the reinstall I made sure the dowel pin was inserted but I’m not sure if the oil pulley is connected to the timing. Is there some alignment mark for that pulley?

On early cars that shaft drove the distributer but on a 325 it does not. No problem where that pulley sits on a B25
