Another Central Locking Fault

Hi guys I bought my E30 coupe a couple days ago and now the central locking doesn’t work! I’ve tried the usual; checked the CL unit all looks okay, I can hear the relay operating, I’ve checked the door plug and all looks okay, I’ve cut the 2 red/black wires and soldered them together. The weird things is that the doors are locked however I can get into the drivers side by wiggling the key and the handle at the same time but I wouldn’t be able to get back out if I closed it, and the passenger door barrel doesn’t turn atall, any help would be really really appreciated, just want to get out and enjoy the car!
