Had someone kindly smacked my nice shiny chrome rear bumper on the left corner and looks like it pushed the whole side forward about 2cm,

Is it a big job? I have had the front off a few times and it's a easy job but never a rear.

Well that's a pain....

But not so bad...although easier to put back with a helper.

One bolt each side accessed inside the rear arch these secure the plastic end cap trims.

One bolt each side inside the boot, you have to remove the trim on the inside wheel wells which can be a pain, to gain access.

Two bolts left and right of the rear boot panel, again remove the trim on the rear panel.

Do the main rear support bolts last and slip the whole bumper rearwards...

I think the two brackets attached to the bumper are handed, just in case you dismantle it completely to clean or repair.
