E30 paint hammered effect?

The area in red is what I'm interested in. I presume everyone else's is like this, but this area has a pitted/hammered texture on the paint.

I also have it on the area below the back bumper
Firstly, is this normal, secondly how do I achieve this effect or is it the actual metal below that's pitted?
Basically I was adjusting my rear bumper today (moving the clips to get a better fitment) and when I put it back on one side jumped off the rail and caught the area below the bumper on the way down taking away a bit of paint, see below:

Also, does anyone know of any single stage paint (paint + clearcoat together) for diamond black (code: 181)?

That is the factory stonechip coating which is then overpainted. You can get the same finish with something like Gravitex or 3M 08800 but it takes a bit of practice to get it looking OEM

Solid colours can be single, Metallics are base and clear. If you are just touching up to stop rust then some sprayed base coat is fine.
