HI guys

Havre I been supplied with the wrong CPS? Is very different to what is on the car. See below:

And this is what was supplied. Not right, right?

Yes, I thought I'd be clever and buy from a cheaper Bosch supplier in Lithuania - does anyone have the correct one which works? Or do I pay the extortionate BMW prices for the correct one? Hopefully.

Thanks,
Rich

That's definitely the wrong type,

Send it back, get a refund,

I got one from rock auto in the states, cost me about £45 incl p&p,
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Thanks Steve. Just another quick question - is the B20 CPS the same as the B25?

No worries. It's just the 320 isn't listed on that site. But I think I've found one - this looks right. Right?

Looks like it, maybe send the seller a message to clarify.

After the hassle I had with the CPS on my 325 I'd recommend going to BMW and getting the OEM part. I tried two Meat & Doria CPS and neither worked. New one from BMW and 1st turn of the key and she started.

I can't help but think that'll be the route I take... However I did manage to avoid Meat & Doria because it had been mentioned a few times on here:)

In all honesty and with hindsight I'd recommend the BMW item...I have had bitter experiences with anything less worthy...and the fact that failure will leave you stranded.

Just my opinion

Thanks Paul, They are sending me a replacement for the wrong delivered item already but I think it will be replaced with a BMW one at some point soon.

if they send the correct one & you get one from bmw then keep the other as a spare in the boot, just in case.
