Rocker cover end plugs
Moderator: martauto
I am changing the rocker cover gasket and have decided to replace the 4 u shaped plugs at the same time as I think one might be leaking. Do I just push the new ones in place, or should I seal them in with some form of gasket seal?

A lot of "after market" seals are made with harder/softer materials in my experience - I ended up using a little RTV gasket selant to be on the safe side,
I also did the same with my cam seal as I suffered from a leaking new one after fitting it.
