Seasonal greetings.

I was planning to fit an OE exhaust to my PFL 325i cab but ended up with a full Scorpion exhaust instead as it was substantially cheaper.
This is the system I ended up with https://www.scorpion-exhausts.com/bmw-3 ... tem-lemans.

The Scorpion system is a three piece - however I have a 2 piece system currently in place.
According to the wiki 2 and 3 piece systems are interchangable, so I should be alright?

Anyway, I'd appreciate any words of wisdom/tips before I rip open the box and plan the job in the new year.

Thanks!

The only thing that will determine if it will fit staight on is the manifold to downpipe flange. I cant remember the sizes off hand but worst case scenario is a replacement standard manifold around £50.

The mounting points are all the same for 2 or 3 piece systems, ie. gearbox bracket, rear subframe bracket and then the silencer straps.

Thanks. I managed to get someone to measure the down pipe joins of an E30 at the manifold side and looks like it’s identical to the Scorpion down pipe so I’m confident that things will work out.
