Rear/Tail light wiring Facelift to pre-facelift

Ive had my back panel changed to accommodate pre facelift lights and need to change the pig tail plugs to fit them.

Can anyone advise on how to do this?

What colours are for what on both pre facelift and facelift so I can swap them over?

Colours should be the same, unless one of the clusters was fed through a lamp check module, and the other wasn't, in which case there will be differences in the tracer colour on some wires.
Assuming your pre facelift plugs have a short length of loom on them, cut the facelift plugs off of your loom, solder the pre facelift wires in their place, and insulate with heat shrink sleeving, before wrapping the whole lot in loom tape. Stagger the lengths of the wires, so that all the joins don't end up beside each other, making a large bulge in the finished, wrapped loom

and use proper Tesa dry cloth loom tape and not goopy electrical platic tape.

Ive actually ordered 2 new pre facelift pigtails from bmw and waiting for them to arrive. I can go from pictures to work out what colour wire goes where...hopefully!
