Hi guys,
I’ve got the 15” basket weave bbs’s. All of my center caps are not gripping the wheels and come off very easy.
The caps seem in good condition, and the lip on the wheels are clean.
Is there something I’m missing?
My next guess is to buy a single new one and see how it fits. Maybe the plastics on mine have stretched or become worn?
Any one got a idea before I spend £100 on a new one to test?

When i refurbed my wheels i found the extra layer of paint on the wheel centre-boss made the centre-caps a bit harder to twist-lock on.
Try wrapping some insulation tape around the wheel -boss, where the cap innards grip.

I've used plumber's thread seal tape (white PTFE/Teflon tape) on one of them on which the threads seem worn out or damaged, and works perfect.

Hi sorry for slow reply. I’ll try get a couple of pictures tomorrow.
I’ll also give the insulation tape a go.
We had thought where the wheels had been refurbed that maybe there was to much paint on them and was causing the clips to no seat properly. I’ll try the tape and see how it effects it.
