So my engine(M20 b25) has been using a little coolant recently.
Yesterday I noticed it looks like it's in the oil as the level is up a little and the oil is a pale brown.
How bad is it to run it for short trips like this?
I know oil looses some of its lubrication when mixed with coolant.
Bit annoying as I only replaced the head three years ago.
Worst case scenario, I see AMC cylinder heads are around £500 have these got a good reputation?
Thanks, Dan.
Head Gasket, hopefully....

Oil loses almost all it's lubrication when mixed with coolant.
I wouldn't drive it.

Yea I thought that, maybe I'll do a quick oil change as I need to do a couple of 3 mile trips before I can look at it.

Well I checked the oil this morn and.it didnt look too bad:-?
more a pale brown
It's definitely using or loosing coolant though
I think I'll change the oil and go from there.
