Hello,
I just picked up an E30 Touring with the headlight washer system. I can't for the life of me find anything online no how to remove it. I looked up the actual pieces and everything, and I understand that the rod is held in by a little nut, but at the same time I can't find it? I feel completely lost/useless. I feel like it should be obvious, but the only guide that I could find is so old the photos don't work anymore. Can anyone point me towards a photo/guide/video related to taking apart the headlight washer system?
I appreciate any assistance!

Do you mean the nut that holds the blades/arms on? If so it's under the cover in the centre. From memory once the blades are off you can remove the grilles then get access to the nuts holding the brackets on. You'll then need to remove the plastic cover from behind the headlight under the bonnet, disconnect wiring and hoses and remove the motors etc. Theres an article on the wiki about retro fitting which should have enough info to work from.

Be careful taking the cover off, especially in this cold weather. The plastic just breaks and you won't get any more as they are NLA

@DLB26 & @THA881 That wiki link is empty to me. nothing is there at all. It was one of the places I checked before posting a new topic.

I am referring to the plastic cap covering the nut at the end of the spindle holding the double wiper arm onto the spindle.
