Just bought a set of sport springs, and need to change my shocks too as they are shafted. Looking on europarts site, would anyone suggest using the oil or gas shocks as they list both for the rear?

Also a mate of mine has his E30 M3 shocks in the garage that I can have for free, cos he converted to coil overs. Will they fit a 325i?
Cheers

i used bilstein sport shocks and the "matched" springs they supply on my 316i, i think they are gas, but it sits a bit too low at the back though so i'm putting the IS spring on then i'll have a nice even drop. really improved the car though, it was on 100,000 miles and original suspension. it gives a nice ride with good handling.

just curious, the sport shocks aint to much and are worth it, but try out the m3 ones, if you aint happy with them swop back, its simple enough to do. 1 hours work and thats it!

I only asked as they are lying around, and free is my favourite price!
I just didn't have a clue if they would fit. Why don't the fronts fit?
