Broken elbow

Hi. Firstly I have found a really clogged water pipe that goes from the thermostat housing to the throttle body. Have a look below.. What impact do you think this would have had on the running? Could it have contributed to my idle issue??

Also its snapped the sticky out elbow from the bottom of the housing. I can drill it and tap it but is it available or do I need a threaded elbow from somewhere else?

It is to prevent the throttle icing over in very cold conditions. not really necessary in the UK but nice to have it working as it should.

Would not have been affecting your idle

Ahh thanks. I will tap it and put a hose tail on.
