Am seemingly on a quest to replace as many parts of my car as possible - currently working on some issues with startup, hunting / poor idle, and some lean running. Figuring the TPS has a part to play, but having replaced most of the ignition system at this stage I'd like to get the injectors done.
There are two listed on autodoc when I search for the OEM P/N - with very different pricing.
These are 3 bar - and are around £45 (am sure these were cheaper last week!)

These are also 3 bar, but come in at £105 each

Anyone ordered the first ones or know why there's such a difference? Having the current injectors refreshed would set me back about €40 each locally - so buying the cheaper of the two options above makes more sense if they're suitable.
Which injectors? M20B25

Not a direct answer to your question, but there is a guy on here, Injectortune, you’ll find him in the Traders section, who services injectors.
He’s well recommended, he did mine two years ago & I was very pleased with the results & he was quick.
Cost was about £12 each.
Check him out, they were as new when returned, complete with new parts list & a report.

Cheers - have seen them mentioned before. I’m based in Ireland, so having to post them to the UK and get them back would probably leave me with at least a two week turnaround - and the distinct possibility of them going missing in transit!

A have not used these myself, but I have read that the thinner plastic ones are the replacement part you can get now.kdevitt wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 9:01 pmAm seemingly on a quest to replace as many parts of my car as possible - currently working on some issues with startup, hunting / poor idle, and some lean running. You will notice that the fatter ones are not in stock in Autodoc so you can't buy them anyway. Price does seem to be pegged high on items that are discontinued on the autodoc page so would not read too much into it.
I just picked up a spare set of good used ones and had them refurbed by James at Injectortune

That make sense so - hadn't noticed the more expensive ones were unavailable to order. Cheers
