hey every one .
ok so , its been sat 5 years 325i 1989 cab maual.. and it isn't driven much before that. BUT .new fuel filter and lines and new fuel . new cambelt and the only other running issue is maybe idle control on warm up . but maye 20 mins into driving it dips ever so slight in power as i lift of while cruising and squeeze again slightly... but after a slip road i opened her up to 70(90 really*) then i started to slow and the power dropped again to a no power scenario and had to pull in and hope i didnt slow too much and the power came back again at 60

so seams like it looses power when i lift (not always) and worse the faster i go.

i do know that my afm has a loose plastic cover. and i think it maybe have been fiddled with . i know there was a thing were you could re leave the spring tension on the flap by moving the gear a bit. and getting a snappier throttle .
im wondering if this could cause a brief power loss

or im looking at something else. i mean it goes well so it doesnt stutter under load (rules out fuel pressure?) its only when i lift (its not intermittant ecu/fuel pump relays etc) i need to test drive it more but ive only just got it on the road and MOT i tommorrow!!
