Hi all,

I fitted front fogs to my preface over the weekend but only the passenger side unit works.

I have swapped fuse 29 & 30 over to make sure its not that, it didn't solve the problem and the bulbs are good in both units as I have tested them.

The only way I can get the drivers side fog light to work is to run a cable from the power from passenger side over to drivers side but would rather keep everything original and not do this.

One thing I noticed when doing this, there are two sockets on the passenger side, one for the front fog light and the other I'm not sure. On the drivers side I could only find one socket to connect into unless the second socket is hiding somewhere and I have the fog light connected into the wrong socket.

Help.......

If all else fails, I'll get an auto electrician out to have a look if anyone knows of one in the North \ West Yorkshire region

All the folowing is from memory,so may be wrong, but on my '87 car the foglamp connector wires are yellow/brown and the extra connector on passenger side is for headlamp wash/wipe and ,being a 3-pin,you couldn't connect your f/lamp to it anyway.
