evening chaps
took my 325 out for blast sunday and looks like the water pump bearings got play - the fan chafed through the top hose and overheated....
i noticed it at just below the red box and cut it and pushed it to the side,
patched up the hose & tried rebleeding but just woudnt have it, called out rac for direct recca and they sent a tech out who said poss head gasket - he tried a sniff test but unable as water pushing out the rad
(e36 radiator) so expansion tank on it..
basically i got it home and had a look thought might possibly be the stat thats stuck closed but opening up ok, its overheating but no hot air at all coming out through heaters so could it be just a massive air lock or blockage somewhere?
