Hey guys
So just finished up my E30 to E46 steering rack conversion.
Had new powersteering lines made up etc.
Used my stock E30 inner and outer tie rods. Cut a groove in them as the E46 rack has vent holes on them.
Filled ATF fluid and turned the rack a few times lock to lock without starting the car. Then started the car and topped up fluid.
I can feel the power assistance working but it still feels a bit stiff to me.
How is the feel suppose to be besides the lower lock to lock?

Sorted out. When i made my custom lines, they used the original feed pipe from the pump with the built in restrictor.
When i bolted up the parts, i used the e46 banjo bolt which also has a restrictor in it. Replaced the banjo with the e30 without restrictor and all sorted. Feels fine now.
