Hi guys. I have recently bought a 1983 baur tc and noticed the k5 relay was missing on collection. I have replaced the relay relay and now have power to fuses 16 and 17. However neither of the windows have any power to the swith plugs. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a photo copy PDF of the E30 wiring if you want a copy to start tracing the wires?

Is the overload 'switch' full reset? Are the wires to this overload attached to it (the connectors are undersize for the gauge of the wire.)

If you wouldnt mind posting the pdf link, that would be great!

The car has standard wiring, if there is an overload switch I dont know where it is, where is the overload switch located?

Overload switch is right in front of the RH front window switch.

If there's nothing in front of the RH window switch on the centre console, you have aftermarket electric windows. The cut out is standard on all E30s with factory/dealer fitted electric windows, whatever the body style and number of doors.

pre. '88 cars like yours the cut-out was on the dash rather than the console, just above the radio-slot.

You're quite correct, sir. I'm not that familiar with the really early stuff, and hadn't actually noticed that this was one such car.
