Instrument cluster - VDO/Moto combo.

Whilst changing my broken odometer gears I've discovered that I have a VDO speedo/odo in a Motometer unit (presumably due to an historic repair job). I understand this isn't entirely uncommon (and I have used the correct gears), but I'm wondering if there's any other issues that come from having a Frankenstein cluster?

Shouldn't be a problem. All the individual assemblies making up the cluster were to the same spec. whoever made them.
