Hi guys,

Finally getting my project back on the go after a very slow year with the car!

I have all panels needed for the rear arches (not much left of the original). I got a bit carried away and removed the O/S rear wheel housing where the strut top bolts on to as there was hardly anything left except the strut tower part. I saw a few examples of the replacement panel online but after trying to order, no one actually has any stock and Cotswolds don’t have anything in stock worldwide and not sure if it’ll ever be remade...

Any suggestions of where I go next?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info!

I've had a look and they don't seem to have the panel I'm looking for.

My only other option I've found is from E30 Norway on Facebook. They have a panel but without the strut tower. I can patch that in from my old panel as that's the only thing still intact! But I'm in discussion with them as they say it's a repair panel and meant to overlay the original so I'm unsure if it's fit for purpose as a standalone panel...

I'll keep searching!

If you have a good restorer, you find that they can fabricate anything. I had to have wheel arch work done as well and didn't have to buy any panels. Best of luck with the repair and considering the work done on restoring basket cases, I would imagine its not the end of the road for your e30.

I've currently been doing everything myself and learning as I go along. I may have to see if there are any good local restorers around that may be able to help. Just seen then Sytner BMW have the panel I need but for about £250 so I'll see if they actually have it in stock.

Thanks for all your help! I may start posting a few photos and thread of the build. there's more holes than metal at the moment so it should be interesting!

Thanks again!
