Hi Guys,
I recently had my glovebox out and the two trim pieces behind it to remove a dodgy install alarm system and tidy up some wiring. I went to put all the pieces back together and can't figure out what fixings I need and how it goes back together. I kept the fixings that came out and I only have one small screw and a quarter turn plastic fixing, so it definitely wasn't installed right before I got to it. Is someone able to help? (pics of correct install would be perfect).
All pics i can find online are of LHD cars which don't help either! Anyway here is where I am at:
So from the front - I have one screw holding the smaller trim panel on (top right of pic) and it looks like I am missing a screw in the top middle next to the light switch. I assume there is a nut clip which goes on the trim panel and then the screw comes in from the front, is this right?
And then on the big panel I have the quarter turn fastener holding it in to a bracket just above the speaker/bonnet release. Is this correct?
And then I appear to be missing some fixings which hold the 2 panels together? Or maybe even in to the dashboard somewhere? The parts don't perfectly line up so I am not sure what is suppose to go here?
Finally, the small trim panel on mine appears to have a tab broken off it, which I assumed goes on to this clip by the brake push rods?
I am just confused as no matter what I did I couldnt get all the pieces to line up with each other properly and fit like I felt they should! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Each of the 2 plastic trims are fixed in three places.
The smaller one goes in first- the bit you are missing fits in behind the 1/4 turn plastic plug that secures the forward end of centre-console,just next to brake-booster gubbins.
There is a hidden 1/4 turn fixing that holds the top edge onto the car sheet-metal.
You already got the last one-the self-tapper screw.
The larger one - you've got the one above the speaker correct already.
Black self-tapper screw goes in next to glove-box light-switch.
Another 1/4 turn fastener does fix larger trim to smaller one where you think it goes

Thanks for that Biffer!
I have managed to find the below picture (realoem brings up a LHD one annoyingly when i went in to it!)
So the hole circled in red, fits in to a fixing already in place for centre console? (this is where mine is broken so won't be able to fit in anyway but good to know roughly where it should locate!)
And the hole circled in red requires another 1/4 turn fixing straight in to vehicle?
The fixing holding them both together (the one in purple?), is that the same as the one used by the red circle? Or a separate fixing? Sorry for the additional questions!
I also have a long wire with a 2 pin connector which is currently just sat in the glove box - i assume this is for the glovebox torch that came fitted? I don't have the torch but ideally want to keep the wiring in the same place. Any idea how this routes around the glove box to get to the correct location?
Thanks,

yes, your on the right track.
where the 2 panels join in your 3rd pic. the holes intentionally don't quite line up-the fastener sits 1/2 way in the vertical. slot on the large part
the middle fastener on the small piece i have to fit blind- it's quite hard to see.
You're right about lack of RHD pics.- the yanks seem to take pics of their cars much more than us.
The fasteners that i know of are either what you have already ,that you can twist with your fingers, or there are similar ones with slotted flat-heads that you can turn with a 50p-piece, either work fine, and both sorts are on Ebay.

Thanks for your help Biffer! I'll hopefully get a chance tomorrow to have a look and see if I can get it mounted a bit better!

Your torch wire sits around the outide of your drop-down glovebox ,i think there is a prominent horizontal ridge moulded in to the box and the wire is clipped to it it 2 or 3 places- there should be some definate marks that tell you where the small rectagular metal clips should be.
