Hello all. I have a 91’ 325i vert I’m digging into.
When I raise and lower the convertible top. The metal loop for the vert hatch latch, on the rear passenger side, hits the hinge part of the frame of the convertible top. The hatch will not open any farther, and must be forced back a little for the latch loop and very frame to rub past each other.
I found the link below to re-adjust the entire top, it doesn’t leak, so i’d rather avoid doing that. Is there a way to just move the rear passenger part of the convertible frame forward?

I’ll post some annotated pics when I get back.

It is a left hand drive car. I’ll be able to take pictures on Wednesday, so i’ll post a pic of the interference between the hatch and the hinge. Thanks for the replys!
