m tec leather front seats from a 635csi into e30?

found a 635csi in local scrappy with decent m tec seats in the only discrepancy with the mounting brackets is they are 20mm wider apart than in the e30 but same mounting centres along the length, can the subframes be swapped?

Given the rarity of E24 sports seats you're probably better off selling them & buying a pair of E30 seats.

I know E30 seats can be made to fit a 6-series but I don't know if it works the other way round as the 6 seats are wider.

are they electric i have been thinking of doing this myself

I'd stay away from electric seats if I were you. I live in fear of mine packing up. Motors are over Ԛ£100 each from the dealer & I don't think they're available anywhere else.

manual seats, might be worth buying the rears as well to sell on reckon i could get the lot for Ԛ£70?

I've never seen a Six with worn rear seats . . . In fact they all look as if they've never been sat in!

i have an old x reg 635 interior sat upstairs
had this plan b4 but not got round to it

was thinking e30 sports fronts and the rears from a 6 complete with 6 armrest etc
