Shrick recommend double springs as their cam has a faster steeper profile which can stress the standard springs resulting in a breakage.
They are also stronger so getting the valves shut in time at higher revs.
That's the theory anyway.

I'm curious about the rockers, What are people using? I have an old BMW rocker, a new Vaico and a new Febi that is generally recommended in front of me and the design does not seem as good as the old BMW stamped rocker that came out of it.
The Febi has the same reinforcement behind the nut-stop but has longer arms than the standard rocker.

I've had a read about thease rockers.
Lots of different opinions.
Looks like if valve clearance is set right and you dont continually run over 7k, standard rockers are fine and seem to be better quality than any copys.
As for springs, think I might have to get sum double springs.
Theres a few different options, ranging from £200 rte.de
£250 catcam holds
£350 schtick

People seem to use the HD rockers but the quality has been hit and miss but most likely with the earlier versions. the pads dont look like as good a quality. I'm using OE but shot peened and inspected sold by MM
