Hi

I need to replace the steel lines from filter to engine bay. @£51 from bmw for less than 2 meters of pipe I feel is expensive.

Can I use any other pipes? Copper, aluminium, kunifer and flare the ends myself.

I use 8mm copper for the breather line but always buy the fuel lines from Bmw. I have always wonder about using the blue plastic lines like the use on vags.

when i did mine i used an3 braided steel line from speedflow & an3/m10 fittings.

not cheap by a long shot but i know it will last a lot lot longer than copper.
