Hi all. I posted quite a while back about a decade long SORN/Garaged e30 i hoped to get going. One of the first things advised was getting the old fuel out and changing the pump. Whilst i was able to get the fuel out of the main tank it appears that whatever replacement tank got put in at the last service has no top access point like the main tank section and having jacked it up for a look, no drain plug either. Someone mentioned something about pumping it out but i didnt really understand. If i put a new pump in and jump the relay.. will old fuel from the reserve tank automatically pump out once the main tank is at too low a level or do i have to rig the lines/power some non-standard way to get the job done?
