Hi Jazz are you wanting to know the size or brand of tyre? Size is 205 55 15. The original tyres that were fitted to e30s in the 80s and 90s aren't produced anymore. I believe it varied from year to year it was not a set tyre so anything from uniroyal, dunlop, Michelin, vredestein and possibly more. However some of these brands do not even produce a 205 55 15 tyre anymore, if they do it will be a more modern pattern and compound.

Many thanks 881
I'm looking to find out what would likely have been fitted by the dealer for my j reg 325i sport, I appreciate they wont be made anymore, but am looking for show use.

I need new tyres for the set of BBS 15" wheels I sourced as original to the car! How much are these tyres these days! I can only find 16" so far!

I remember having Goodyear Grand Prix S on mine in the late 80s (Anyone remember them
)
Thankfully they are not around anymore, wouldn't put them on even for a show.
Anything from Goodyear, Uniroyal, or Continental would look original, they all do 205/55/15 and you would have a chance of getting to a show in one piece
