Need picture of air recirculation flap lever/motor

Hey guys,

So im converting my R12 to R134a, already finished with all the hardware, what is left is a vacuum/seal test to make sure the system is leak free, then add R134a.

The only "problem" i have with my system is the recirculation button, it does nothing. Nothing as in does not open or close the fresh air flaps, it is always stuck on open.

When i press the recirculation button (under the compressor/snowflake button), i can hear a slight hum, so i know the motor is working.

When i removed the lower dash to replace the expansion valve, i looked everywhere, found all the controls such as directing air to the footwell, vents, windshield and even the temperature control cable moving. Found everything but the lever for the flaps.

Does anyone have an actually picture of this? i found them in the Bently and Factory manual, but i did not know exactly where to look.

Any picture would be appreciated.

Hi HJ1981, I've never seen a flap for this whilst doing any work but I can check again as I've got some wiring to do around glovebox so I can check then for you.
