So yesterday, somewhere towards the rear N/S, started to rattle over every single bump. I had a quick check and looks like the top mount has perished slightly.
I did read about some E30 owners adding a top mount plate like that on the Z3.
Wanted some opinions as to whether it's worth it?
It's 316i which won't see any heavy footed driving.

Appreciate the response. I didn't realise a E46 part would fit. I know parts between E30s, M3 and e36s' would.

no worries, you can get them off ebay for about £15 a pair & same for the Z3 plates.

I’ve just replaced my top mounts ( and shocks) with E46 bits. My old ones looked okay, but when I had a proper inspection they were completely buggerated. The job is easy. I bought a pair of Z3 reinforcement plates but they will not fit onto my cabriolet so they are yours for £12 if you want them.
