Hi all,

I have a 1989 320i cab E30!

Purchased it not long ago and I’ve had the front end apart and realised that there is no front anti roll bar installed at all!? (Very strange)

I’m guessing it’s meant to have one as I can see the mounts where it should go.

I am about to purchase one but just wanted to know if there’s any difference in what I need to fit to The cabriolet. Are they all the same ?

Thanks for your help

Matt 👍

Cab has thicker anti roll bar.

21 mm diameter.

Thanks mate.

Are the fixings still the same other than this this ?
In other words, could I fit a complete anti roll bar kit from a non cab?

Thanks again

If i am not mistaken M-Tech suspension also gives 20mm front and 14mm rears (with sport springs)

I know SPecE30 racing in the USA run 23mm fronts and 19mm rear H&Rs, in EU we can get 22mm fronts and 18mm rears,

Everything's the same, and I doubt if the difference between a cab. and non cab. bar is noticeable, especially when compared with no bar at all.
Use Mondeo estate rear roll bar links as a direct substitute for E30 ones (They have ball joints at each end instead of the E30 mix of a ball joint and rubber bush.
