Hi guys,

I've got a 316 with an M10 Weber Carb setup. Just wondering if it possible to swap the carb out for fuel injection?

I noticed the 318's have an M10 engine also, but with a few more ponies. Anyone know why they have more power, is it the fuel injection?

Cheers

Anything is possible, but this will largely come down to you skill level and how much money your prepared to spend. An injected m10 is not vastly different performance wise from carb (I’ve owned one of each).

If power is your desire your money and time would be better spent on an engine swop.

Fair enough! I guess I'll just have to look for some little carby upgrades/mods. Even an extra 10hp would be nice. Otherwise am happy with the little runner!
