bonnet release ??

Hi Guys,

My bonnet release catch isnt working think the cable is streached so anyone know an easy and quick way to open the bonnet ???

iv had this happen to me before, the way aroud it i found was to take off the front grill on the passenger side (next to the lights) and you will find the cable at the top simply grab it with a pair of pliers and give it a good old tug, and while you'v got the bonnet open get the cable changed

If you can't get to the cable, there is a slot/hole behind the grill next to the nearside main beam where you can use a long flat blade screwdriver to release the bonnet. It may involve damaging the grill but they only cost peanuts from a scrappy and if you're really stuck....
