So I'm doing the half shafts/output shafts. I have the inner joints off but the outers seem stuck.
I've read a lot about how it is possible, but very fiddly and possibly damaging to get the outers off, is this true?
I would really like to get mine off. The ABS wheel thing is completely rusty and needs a good clean. Does that need to come off first?
If anyone can point me in the direction of a clear 'how to remove the outer cv joint' with either photo's or video that would be great.
But I'm starting to think there isn't one. So if you've done this in the past, please let me know how you achieved it, I would really appreciate it.

No photos, but the tricky part is removing the tabbed lock washer on the hub nut.
Once that is out and the hub nut off, tapping the splined shaft out of the bearing is necessary with a wooden drift.
